Dion leads American Airlines Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, PSA Airlines. He is responsible for oversight of the airline’s daily operations and guiding the company toward safe and reliable growth and sustainability.

Dion joined PSA as President in 2014 and added CEO to his title in 2022. In his previous position as President of US Airways Express, Flannery was responsible for the wholly owned regional airlines PSA and Piedmont Airlines, as well as the seven regional affiliates that also operated as US Airways Express. Flannery has also held positions as vice president of financial analysis for US Airways, vice president of scheduling and route planning for America West Airlines, and positions with Continental Airlines, including senior director and long-range schedule planning.

With a strong commitment to the PSA team, intensifying training and development, and elevating operational performance, Dion has positioned the airline for continued growth and success. Since assuming his role at PSA, Flannery has used this experience to lead initiatives designed to enhance coordination, efficiency, and customer service at PSA, all while guiding the company through the impact of the merger of US Airways and American Airlines and the tremendous fleet expansion and growth of the regional airline.

Dion has a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Texas-Austin and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Houston.
