Our Leadership

Dion leads American Airlines Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, PSA Airlines. He is responsible for oversight of the airline’s daily operations and guiding the company toward safe and reliable growth and sustainability.

Dion joined PSA as President in 2014 and added CEO to his title in 2022. In his previous position as President of US Airways Express, Flannery was responsible for the wholly owned regional airlines PSA and Piedmont Airlines, as well as the seven regional affiliates that also operated as US Airways Express. Flannery has also held positions as vice president of financial analysis for US Airways, vice president of scheduling and route planning for America West Airlines, and positions with Continental Airlines, including senior director and long-range schedule planning.

With a strong commitment to the PSA team, intensifying training and development, and elevating operational performance, Dion has positioned the airline for continued growth and success. Since assuming his role at PSA, Flannery has used this experience to lead initiatives designed to enhance coordination, efficiency, and customer service at PSA, all while guiding the company through the impact of the merger of US Airways and American Airlines and the tremendous fleet expansion and growth of the regional airline.

Dion has a bachelor’s degree in advertising from the University of Texas-Austin and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Houston.

As Chief Operating Officer, Chris leads and is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of many critical aspects of our airline, including Flight and Inflight Operations; Crew Scheduling and Dispatch; and both Technical Services and Technical Operations within Maintenance.  

Chris joined PSA Airlines in August 2025 from Allegiant Travel Company, where he was Senior Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering for over six years. Prior to Allegiant, Chris served in a variety of reliability-centered maintenance and engineering roles with increasing responsibility for Republic Airways. He began his career at Republic on the front line as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician before ascending to several maintenance and engineering management roles, including Manager of Engineering, Manager of Engineering Propulsion, Manager of Maintenance and Director of Maintenance, a role he held for over eight years. 

With his deep understanding of maintenance, engineering and overall airline operations – including extensive knowledge of the regional airline industry – Chris is recognized for his expertise in fleet and budget management, cost reduction, and continuous improvement. He has successfully implemented reliability-centered maintenance programs and integrated Lean Kaizen principles, resulting in enhanced operational efficiency and significant cost savings. His leadership is marked by a data-centered approach to decision-making, a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards, and a focus on fostering collaborative team cultures. 

Chris attended Vincennes University and later Embry Riddle University, where he received an associate degree in airline management. He holds an A&P Certificate, a private pilot’s certificate, and is an aircraft owner-operator. 

As Vice President of Supply Chain, Michael oversees our Supply Chain organization where he drives all of PSA’s fleet initiatives with a focus on optimizing our aircraft reliability.

Michael joined PSA in 2016 and recruited, built, and developed a finance team. Michael started as a financial analyst at US Airways in 2007 and held many roles with increased responsibility within US Airways and American Airlines before joining PSA.

Michael has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona.

Reddy is responsible for the safety, reliability, and productivity of PSA’s airline operations. He spearheads operational excellence by translating strategic goals into actionable plans seamlessly coordinated and executed across the divisions under his purview, including Maintenance and Engineering, Flight, Inflight, Operations Control, Planning, and Performance.

With over two decades of industry experience, Reddy has occupied various positions at US Airways, Sabre, and American Airlines, consistently enhancing operational performance through analytical insights. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, an MBA, and a Master’s degree in Management Science specializing in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, and Statistics.

Darren is responsible for elevating safety as PSA’s top priority across the organization. He oversees safety, security, and compliance to protect customers and team members while maintaining the integrity of company assets and information. He also leads training and operations development and has made PSA an industry leader in this space.

Darren has more than 30 years of aviation industry experience. He started his airline career as a CRJ captain, simulator instructor, and check airman with Comair Airlines. He joined PSA in 2012 as a Safety Program Manager and has since held several leadership positions, including Manager of Flight Standards, Director of Flight Training, and most recently, Director of Operations Training and Development.

Darren has a Master of Aeronautical Science and a Graduate Certificate in Aviation Safety Systems from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Christine ensures PSA attracts, retains, supports and engages the best talent in aviation. She is responsible for leading PSA’s Talent Acquisition, HRIS and Compensation, Human Resources, Communications and Marketing, and People Development and Inclusion teams.

Christine has more than 20 years of experience in talent acquisition and development. She first joined PSA as Director of Recruiting in 2016 and led the overhaul of PSA’s recruiting strategy to attract and retain the top aviation talent at a time when the industry faced talent shortages in almost every discipline. After hiring and developing a team of innovative talent acquisition professionals, these efforts continue to form the foundation of PSA’s comprehensive talent acquisition strategy.

Christine received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Arts in Organizational Communications from Northern Kentucky University. She is also a Senior Talent Management practitioner and is SHRM-SCP certified.

Mike joined PSA Airlines as Vice President of Technical Services in 2024, bringing over 18 years of aviation experience. He leads Technical Services, including engineering, reliability, configuration management, quality control, technical records, and technical publications. He is responsible for the development, establishment and sustainment of a robust Aircraft Maintenance Reliability and Technical Services Program.

Prior to PSA, Mike worked for United Airlines for 10 years, where he held leadership positions of increasing responsibility within fleet engineering, fleet management, supply chain and fleet reliability. Before United, Mike served The Boeing Company in Seattle where he worked as an engineer in multiple roles within the aircraft production system and then as a Flight Test Engineer for the 787-8 and 747-8 certification programs.

Mike has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.

Stephen is responsible for the long-term strategy and day-to-day operations of PSA’s Inflight organization. His focus on continuous improvement drives excellence in customer service and provides an unparalleled career experience for flight attendants. He joined PSA in 2022 and has introduced several initiatives to increase team member engagement and knowledge utilizing focused listening sessions and technologies friendly to Inflight team members’ on-the-go lifestyle.

Stephen has 39 years of extensive airline experience in Inflight/Onboard Services. He began his airline career as a flight attendant and subsequently held several positions with increasing responsibility, including Base Manager, Regional Director of Inflight Operations, Managing Director of Inflight Services, and Managing Director of Food and Beverage at American Airlines. He currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the International Flight Service Association (IFSA) Education Foundation, an industry trade group supporting the onboard hospitality industry.

Stephen and his wife Heather have two sons currently attending Texas Tech University.

Steve is responsible for setting the philosophy and vision for PSA’s in-house legal matters. He develops and oversees labor relations for the more than 3,500 represented team members at PSA in collaboration with our four labor unions.

With over a decade of experience in labor-management relations, Steve most recently served as Of Counsel at Littler Mendelson, P.C., where he counseled and represented employers on various workplace matters, including traditional labor, wage and hour, and equal employment opportunity issues.

Steve is a graduate of Duke University and Georgetown University Law.

Keith oversees flight training and pilot operations, ensuring PSA attracts and retains the industry’s best pilot talent by providing top-of-class training curricula and operational support. He serves as the contact for all Flight Ops interactions with the FAA and leads the company’s ongoing flight safety initiatives. Keith joined PSA in 2017 and maintains a focus on the safety, reliability, and productivity of all flight-related operations.

Keith has an accomplished aviation career, with over 30 years of experience in regional airline flight operations. He flew as a CRJ pilot and then served as Chief Pilot for Comair before joining Trans States Airlines in 2010 as Director of Flight Operations, supervising Flight Operations and training.

Richard leads the safety, productivity, and reliability of all maintenance operations, including engineering, maintenance planning, line maintenance, heavy maintenance, maintenance vendor management, and maintenance reliability. With a sharp focus on safety, he ensures team members have a productive and safe work environment and operate to the highest aviation standards to ensure aircraft are safe and reliable for our customers. He has enhanced the maintenance organization’s efficiency while reducing waste due to his knowledge in Lean Continuous Improvement.

He spent over 30 years in aircraft maintenance at FedEx, most recently serving as Managing Director Aircraft Maintenance for FedEx’s second-largest hub in Indianapolis, Asia Pacific Region and Maintenance Tech Training. Before FedEx, he served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, working line maintenance on heavy transport aircraft for four years. Richard is also a certified John C. Maxwell leadership coach and brings valuable training experience.
