DAYTON, Ohio – PSA Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines, is introducing an industry-leading program that provides the most valuable path for interested students at its partner schools to transition from the classroom to the aviation maintenance hangars at PSA. Through the partnership, students are eligible to receive up to $2,000 to cover the cost of earning their Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license and will receive immediate placement as a PSA mechanic once their certification is completed. PSA currently has premier partnerships with local schools Great Oaks Career Center, Miami Valley Career Technology Center and Sinclair Community College. 

PSA Airlines announced key changes to its pilot pay program that provides pilots with the opportunity to earn a portion of premium pay, even if only flying their line as originally awarded. The new pay system is a productivity-based system which recognizes and rewards those pilots who show up and work to make PSA Airlines the most reliable airline for our customers.  Any pilot who has a line credit value above 75 hours at the end of the month is guaranteed some amount of premium pay.

PSA Airlines is offering prospective qualified First Officer candidates the opportunity to take control of their careers and secure a rapid upgrade to Captain at the fastest-growing regional carriers in the industry. Qualified and eligible candidates will receive an enhanced incentive bonus up to $41,520 including $20,000 prior to starting their career with PSA, a $16,520 sign-on bonus and a $5,000 CRJ experience bonus.

Officials from PSA Airlines and Inter-American University of Puerto Rico signed the PSA Airlines Cadet Program agreement and officially welcomed Inter-American University of Puerto Rico as a Cadet Program partner on May 5, 2018.
