On Wednesday, December 16, the Federal Aviation Administration visited the PSA Airlines Maintenance Facility in Dayton, Ohio to present Sam “Sammy” Goforth, an Airframe/Powerplant Technician, with the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award. Sam was awarded a certificate and a lapel pin.

PSA Airlines, Inc. (PSA) announced today that it has instituted a $5,000 sign-on bonus for all newly hired pilots effective January 1st, 2016.

Yesterday, PSA-ALPA MEC Chairman Jason McConnell and PSA President Dion Flannery signed the new Pilot Flow-up Procedure Letter of Agreement. Also joining them for the signing was PSA Negotiating Committee Chairman Robert Hamilton.

Today, PSA Airlines reached agreement with its pilot union to dramatically improve and increase its pilot flow-through program to American Airlines. This agreement will almost double the current number of pilots flowing to American, culminating in nearly 100 pilots flowing per year. The agreement affords PSA pilots a career path directly to American through a seniority-based flow system.

PSA Airlines announced today that it will add an additional crew base, opening January 2016, at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG). This will be PSA’s fourth crew base: joining Dayton, Ohio, Charlotte, North Carolina and Knoxville, Tennessee.

PSA Airlines is expanding its Dayton-based facilities with a new maintenance hangar and began the development phase with a ceremonial ground breaking earlier today. The new hangar will be adjacent to PSA’s current maintenance hangar located at the Dayton International Airport and will be the airline’s largest hangar yet.

PSA Airlines celebrated the retirement of outgoing president Keith Houk during the March 31st employee luncheon at the PSA Airlines Dayton hangar.
