With PSA’s fleet expansion, the current Pilot hiring rates of 40 to 60 new hires a month is anticipated to continue through 2016.

Pilot Ground Training is six weeks in duration and conducted in Dayton, Ohio. Flight simulator training is approximately two weeks at our Charlotte, North Carolina, simulator center and at other locations based on training needs. All Pilot recruits may look forward to paid training, per diem and single occupancy room accommodations.
With PSA’s current growth, Pilot new hires can expect reduced reserve time, domicile assignments (Dayton, Charlotte, Knoxville) awarded during training (or shortly thereafter), historically low time to upgrade, and a well defined career path to American Airlines. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and 401(K), all Pilots are eligible for travel privileges on American Airlines.

PSA Flight Attendants are service professionals of the highest caliber, with a desire, drive, and the passion to provide outstanding service. PSA Flight Attendants are expected to meet qualifications such as a minimum age of 21, two years’ experience in a customer service position, and a high school diploma or GED. Flight Attendant Ground Training is four weeks in duration and conducted in Dayton, Ohio. Followed by two weeks of in-flight training which is conducted onboard the aircraft in revenue service with PSA customers. All flight attendant trainees may look forward to paid training, per diem, and double occupancy room accommodations. Successful completion of all phases of training is required before trainees are permitted to serve as a flight attendant in revenue service.

Airframe & Powerplant Technician
As PSA acquires new aircraft and as our current aircraft age, it is essential to have qualified and reliable Maintenance Technicians on our staff.
All Maintenance Technicians are required to have both Airframe and Powerplant licenses and be 18 years of age or older. To view all qualifications, view our job posting.
All Maintenance Technicians receive paid training. Training is held within the first few months of hire with qualifications on all fleet types. PSA ensures our technicians are exposed to all aspects of maintenance to foster a constant learning environment.
Maintenance Technicians are offered comprehensive benefit packages including medical, dental, 401k and travel privileges on American Airlines.
All Aircraft Dispatchers are required to have a FAA Aircraft Dispatcher license and be 23 years of age or older. At least one (1) year experience in part 121 or 135 operation is desired.
All Aircraft Dispatchers receive paid training. Training consists of classroom training and on-the-job training with a seasoned Dispatcher.
